Hello Сommunity. The AlmaLinux OS Foundation is proud to announce the general availability of [AlmaLinux OS 9.2](https://mirrors.almalinux.org/isos.html) codenamed "Turquoise Kodkod"!
Installation ISOs are available on the mirrors now for all 4 architectures:
* [IBM Z (s390x)](https://repo.almalinux.org/almalinux/9.2/isos/s390x/AlmaLinux-9.2-s390x.torrent)
## ISOs, Live Images, Cloud and Containers
AlmaLinux also offers a variety of Cloud, Container and Live Images. The builds for these get kicked off as soon as the public repository is ready. **The following images are expected to be available shortly.**
We will post a separate "Images Update" announcement soon, to keep the community informed.

We provide a wide variety of containers for your use. Please see our [Docker Official Image](https://hub.docker.com/_/almalinux) as well as [all AlmaLinux images](https://hub.docker.com/u/almalinux). **IMPORTANT!** Starting from AlmaLinux 9.2 Docker's "latest" and "minimal" tags will point to the latest 9 version. If you're using these tags and want to stay on AlmaLinux 8 please update your Dockefiles.

## Release Notes and More Information
AlmaLinux 9.2 provides enhancements and features to the hybrid cloud’s foundation and helps deliver workloads, applications and services for multiple environments faster and with less effort. This release includes security updates such as the realmd system role, a SCAP profile, and Ansible content for enhanced system checks to simplify managing security and compliance. Improvements to application streams provide compilers, runtime languages, databases and web server updates. Enhancements to the web console and new system roles make it easier to automate and standardize systems. As for containers, new capabilities allow the development and management of containerized deployments more easily.
